It's a typical Sunday....woke up at a decent time and decided to watch a movie that I knew Josh wouldn't really prefer to watch with me. Julie and Julia. Watching movies like this make me wish that I would take the time to cook and be a bit more creative. Perhaps next year's NY Resolution.
In that thought, this year's resolution is going well. We decided that our resolution would be a financial goal; paying off our truck 4 years early. We've stayed on track and looks like the goal will be completed by the end of the year! It's amazing what a waste of money cars are....lesson learned the hard way. Apparently, that's the only way I seem to learn.
It's been a rough week juggling both jobs while Josh was out of town in Des Moines again. Plus the stress of other things in my life...I've lost my mind. Not only did I have to call my sister-in-law to check on our garage door on Wednesday (which I had shut) but I lost my driver's license on Friday night. This alone doesn't seem that out of control, but in all honestly, it's been happening more often lately. My mind isn't all there. Camera's, coupons, papers, etc. You name it, I've lost it.
Perhaps it's a sign that I've signed up for too much. This summer might call for a much needed break from teaching. Something I'll have to think about. In the meantime, I'll continue to pretend we are in Lutsen still....
