Five Months

You are now five months old. Where, has the time gone! I can't believe how much you have grown and changed in such a short amount of time. You are such a sweet little girl and you have no idea how much your dad and I love you.

In the last month, you've done some PRETTY big things. While your daddy and I were getting ready to feed you before we went to meet Aunt Sara and Uncle Anders for a Sunday bloody mary, you decided to roll over for the first time. January 29th was a pretty big day for daddy and I as well, as we realized how all these little moments make us prouder than we've ever been. You also have started to giggle. You don't do it often, but you love little "zerberts" on your face and belly and every once in awhile we can get this to produce a little giggle.

You went through a big growth spurt at the four and a half month mark. You typically drink two six ounce bottles and a 5 ounce bottle at day care and we had to increase to two seven and a half ounce bottles instead. Mommy was worried you were ready for food sooner than she was ready to give it to you - but it only lasted a week. You are back to your normal bottles now. You are a very patient eater....and don't get too mad often...except when you are hungry and it's the end of the day. You won't take bottles from your mom - but are a quick eater with anyone else. We don't do bottles often, except when you are at daycare.

You've met so many friends at day care. You really like being there and playing with all the kids. Except, you get sick. When dad was out of town, you had your first big temperature (101.4) and mommy didn't know what to do. We should have known something was wrong - since we tried to go to dinner two nights in a row and you wouldn't stop crying. This was so mAfter a doctor visit (in which you were extremely happy to be at and loving to stand and kick), we found it was viral and by the next day you were feeling much better.

Mommy and daddy love you so much - but another BIG girl thing you do for them (and why they love you even MORE) is because you are an excellent sleeper. You go to bed around 7:30pm each night and wake up at 6:30am. You've loved your sleep so much. You are a crabby girl when you are tired.

We can't wait to continue to see you grown Miss Grace. We love you!
